Our flagship event is an all-ages gathering of DIY enthusiasts in the tech, arts and crafts who get together to show what they make and share what they have learned with the South Florida community. It is a festival of invention, creativity and resourcefulness in celebration of the Maker Movement. Since its launch in 2013, Miami Maker Faire has welcomed over 15,000 attendees and 450 makers from all across the Americas and Spain to share their creations with the greater Miami community, including local entrepreneurs, students, craftspeople and educators.

In 2017, we were honored to host the second annual Maker Faire Global Producers Summit, which convened the board and officers of Maker Faire with over 70 Maker Faire producers from all over the world. The Summit also brought together key makers, artists, artists, and thoughts leaders from US, Asia, Europe and Latin America to help expand the discussion around the principles of the maker mindset, and drive outcomes toward overall growth of the Maker Movement and its impact on cities.
